This is a tattoo I created for a friend of mine who's sister was killed in a boating accident this summer while they were on vacation together. There are a lot of symbols in this tattoo. They were very close and it was a very very sad event. He doesn't have it done yet but it should be soon.

The layout was his idea, but all the work is original by me and drawn in Illustrator.

One for his sister, may she rest in peace.

Two for their family, may they recover from this horrible accident.

Three for the non-fractal. Wait, there's some symmetry, nope you haven't completly strayed.

Yeah it is such a sad thing. One thing that can be said about her is that she really lived when was here. Not sure there is any true way to completely recover from something so sudden. Time helps though.

And yeah there is some symmetry hehe I like to draw a lot too and have been itching to get back into it a bit more again!
